Our goal is to connect brokers and insurance students to drive ambitious new talent to choose the broker channel as a career path. Last year we piloted our mentorship program with Humber College’s Insurance Management Students. We successfully paired 25 aspiring brokers with working brokers who were happy to share their institutional knowledge and facilitate network growth for the newcomers—many of whom went on to acquire their broker license.
We’ve expanded our program to include the insurance programs at Centennial College (Toronto), Fanshawe College (London) and Conestoga College (Waterloo). The mentorship will run the length of a school semester, with the commitment level left up to you to decide along with your student. Deadlines vary from college to college, so be sure to apply soon if you’re interested.
