That was the closing message of IBAO President Jeff Gatcke’s incoming address. It’s in this spirit that we invite you to join us for our Town Hall to look at what we’ve accomplished and what we plan to do in the coming year.
Last year we condensed our 13 Regional Meetings into three Town Halls and made one available as a webcast. Based on the success of that format, we’re evolving it further.
This year, we’re streamlining the event to one central Town Hall that will be available as a webcast. While the IBAO Leadership and Executive continue to hold in-person discussions at local Affiliate meetings throughout the year, this event is an opportunity for all members to ask questions and give direct feedback to ensure that we’re delivering value to them. Members who attend — either in person or online — can participate in a Q&A session.
“We’ve accomplished a lot in the past couple of years and we have a lot we want to do in this final year of our three-year strategic plan. We’re eager to hear from our members about how we’re doing and where we’re headed,” says Jeff.
IBAO Leadership and Executive will cover topics including an update of recent IBAO initiatives, current market activity, this year’s strategic objectives and how the IBAO is adding value to broker membership.
We’re also holding our Town Hall and our Annual General Meeting together for the first time, to make it easier for members who’d like to attend both. At this year’s AGM, we’re expecting to propose to members a bylaw change in connection with the new member approval process.
The Town Hall and AGM will be held at the Hilton Niagara Falls on April 3rd. The AGM runs from 8:30 – 10 AM and the Town Hall follows at 10:30 – 12:00 PM (accredited for one Management Hour).
