At the Town Halls President Brian Purcell, President-Elect Jeff Gatcke, Chair Traci Boland and CEO Colin Simpson covered a number of topics concerning the work and operation of the association including:
- New changes to membership structure
- Broker-insurer technology
- Political advocacy initiatives and broker involvement
- Ontariobrokers.ca digital awareness campaign
- Young Brokers Conference and IBAO Convention
“It’s important for us to be able to speak with our members and gather feedback to gauge how the IBAO can serve them best,” said IBAO President Brian Purcell.
The responses we’ve received thus far have been uniformly positive. “It was very informative and well-presented, with the members’ needs placed at the forefront. I’m excited to see what the rest of 2018 yields for IBAO and its members,” said Linda Ashby of Will Marshall Insurance Brokers.
Enjoyed the @IBAOntario Town Hall in Markham this morning. It is clear that our IBAO is working hard to ensure that our members are getting the best value for their dues. Advocating, Education and Technology. We are well served. #insurance #brokers
