We released Ethical Steps in October last year in response to RIBO’s introduction of an ethics continuing education requirement for brokers. Its timely release was made possible by last year’s launch of our custom eLearning platform, My IBAO Learning Path. The platform was designed to allow us to create tailor-made courses to address changes in the industry and to present a modern user experience, allowing brokers to take continuing education offerings anytime, anywhere.

The course is offered free of charge and is exclusively available to IBAO Members. For brokers who’ve already taken the course and are looking to earn their Ethics Hour next year, we’ll be holding a live webinar in the fall, Ethical Considerations for Brokers. After the initial webinar, we plan to adapt the content into an on-demand eLearning course.
Brokers have until September 30th to fulfill their RIBO education requirements, which include one Ethics Hour for any licensed broker.
