With the recent launch of IBAOcon’23, we announced a new addition to the event—our first-ever Broker Hacks Competition, sponsored by Primaco. Here are the details on how you can enter and what’s in it for you.
The Concept
The competition will collect and share how brokers are leveraging free tools to improve their workflows—AI tools like ChatGPT, interesting uses for Excel or whatever your imagination has conjured to streamline your workload. The main stipulation: it needs to be something another broker can implement for free.
The Process
Describe your Broker Hack in 200–400 words, include any accompanying images and screenshots as necessary, and submit to marketing@ibao.on.ca by September 8th. All submissions are welcome! While third-party vendors may apply, preference will be given to employees of insurance brokerages.
The Session
The best Broker Hacks will be compiled and presented during our Broker Workshop October 19th from 2:30–4:30PM during IBAOcon’23. The second half of the Workshop is a presentation by Misha Glouberman, Communications Expert & Problem Untangler. Not to be missed!
The Incentive
The following cash prizes will be awarded for the best Broker Hacks, based on audience vote (you don’t need to be present to win).

- 2nd place — $1,500
- 3rd place — $750
