Insurance Business has recognized IBAO CEO Colin Simpson as a part of its Global 100 list.

The Global 100, now in its second year, was created to spotlight insurance professions who are making a positive impact in the industry. They consider candidates from the six markets Insurance Business publishes in—the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Asia-Pacific and the UK— who are “driving growth and innovation within their own company, taking associations to new heights, advancing the industry forward through education, or championing issues that benefit the sector.”

“I’m humbled to be included among such talent,” said Colin. “I’m very proud of the work the IBAO has done during my time as CEO, but the lion’s share of the credit goes to our team, who make it all happen, and our volunteer Board of Directors who keep us on a productive path.”

During his time as CEO, the IBAO has seen record-high membership levels, evolved its education offerings, expanded its marketing efforts, restructured membership dues, held record-breaking events and increased political advocacy initiatives.

“Thank you to Insurance Business for this honour and thank you to everyone who has enabled our association’s success,” said Colin. “And congratulations to the other individuals recognized on this list.”
