The travel insurance industry has been rocked by COVID-19 and almost daily, new developments emerge. New regulations are enforced both at home and around the world. Businesses shift corporate policy to meet the current reality. The virus exacerbates public health in new ways. Consumer comfort levels shift. Many RIBO licensed brokers are permitted to sell the travel insurance product, and current knowledge on the travel insurance product and its recent evolution needs to be discussed.
