Today, marked the launch of registration for the 102nd Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) Annual Convention taking place on October 19 & 20 at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto. This will be the first IBAO Convention held in person since 2019 and to mark the occasion, IBAO has partnered with top-tier speakers and is set to deliver a robust agenda that delivers on their promise of bringing value to the industry and broker channel.
“Our annual Convention is one of the key events of the Canadian insurance industry, and we’re delighted to be able to bring this event back in-person after a long few years,” said IBAO COO Brett Boadway. “We’ve been listening to our members and partners over the past months and the resounding feedback is that people are ready for a return to face-to-face interaction. We love bringing everyone together for this event, so we’re doing everything we can to make sure it’s safe and extra special.
Announced along with the registration launch, is a lineup of speakers headlining the event, as well as refreshed educational and networking elements and the biggest trade show the event has seen to date.

Early registration is encouraged as the demand this year is much higher. Some items will be refreshed to better fit with today’s landscape, but this is a return to the Convention that everyone knows and loves. A virtual element will be available for those who are unable to attend in person or would prefer to join virtually.
