The Insurance Brokers of Ontario welcome the announcement made yesterday by the Ford Government that they are continuing their efforts to build more effective regulators with a view to specifically make auto insurance more affordable to Ontario consumers, fostering more innovation and reducing the regulatory burden of the insurance market. The IBAO looks forward to continuing our work with the Ontario Government and the newly formed regulator FSRA to explore the options on how these goals can be achieved.
The IBAO was also very pleased to see that the Ford Government is addressing the existing and proposed tax burden on small businesses in Ontario and welcome the Government’s move to support and build the financial health of small businesses which in turn will directly benefit our members’ local communities.
