Through the interactive course, the audience shall be provided a detailed understanding of the nature of cyber threats and relative consequences for an organization.  The material includes relevant and latest industry statistics to showcase the widespread impact of cyber-attacks, globally and across Canada.  With the focus on small to mid-sized businesses, the audience shall be explained organizational vulnerabilities and impact of such attacks.  This is tied in with having a risk management perspective of pre-incident measures needed in combination with a cyber insurance policy complementing mitigation and response efforts.  Finally, the course outlines the different cyber insurance coverage options available, including the split of first party and third party coverages.

Audience members shall walk out with a well-rounded knowledge of the need for cyber insurance with the increasing threat and complexity of cyber risk landscape.
