Course Description
This webinar will begin with an overview of what the coverage entails (i.e. who needs the coverage, what is included, and how to underwrite an application). We will then review an application with financial statements and by-laws, and we will discuss common underwriting red flags. We will also discuss the application review process.
Following this webinar, participants will be able to:
1. Describe why clients require this coverage
2. Discuss characteristics of the ideal client,
3. Identify the most common insurance coverage included in a D&O policy and how it applies to losses
4. Discuss common terms in relation to D&O
5. Review standard D&O application, bylaws, and identify key red flags.
