New Broker Essentials: Version 2: For the Manager

Course Description

Access to course: Lifetime

Building stronger employees starts with a training program that works. This program teaches a trainer or hiring manager how to establish their own training program and encourages them to integrate their own brokerage processes into the training material. For example – what do you expect from your brokers when they are presenting quotes to a customer? This course will help employers create a stronger workforce, and help the bottom line.

This version of the course incorporates learnings from the student perspective, and provides a guide on how a manager can develop their own brokerage training program, using the student modules from Version 1 as a complementary tool to build their training program.

Completed at the managers own pace, this course will help develop a training plan when managers hire new staff.

Preparing a Training Schedule: Brokerage Systems 101

The New Broker Essentials course for the new broker is more generic, and knowing that you are likely to have specific processes and procedures, these courses are designed to help you build a reliable, customized and expandable training plan for now and into the future.

Preparing a Lesson Plan: AutoPlus & MVR 101

Unit 2’s focuses specifically on working with the content and crafting it into a lesson that is logical and still follows the Easy to Hard structure we saw in Unit 1.

Creating Engaging Activities: HITS 101

This Unit’s focus is on transforming the lesson content by selecting the most engaging way for learners to practice that content. Finding innovative ways for learners to “do things” in your lessons will break down any barriers your adult learners have of failure in a learning environment.

Dealing with Fuzzy Situations: Working with your Underwriter 101

This Unit focuses on highly subjective areas when the content doesn’t have a clearly correct/incorrect answer, rather a range and scale of “could be correct IF …” This is known as fuzzy.

Assessment: Handling Customers 101

This unit focuses on the tools and purpose assessment plays in a learning environment.
