IBAO has been receiving numerous calls from our broker members over the past three weeks, asking for direction on how to respond to a recently distributed "new Sub Licence Agreement" circulated by CGI.
We are pleased to report that CGI has now provided us with a copy of the Agreement, and we are currently in discussions with them regarding some potential concerns.
We understand that the CGI is requesting that the 'Sub License Agreement' be electronically executed prior to September 15th, 2011 to ensure that your brokerage continues to have access to CGI’s Insurance Information Services (IIS) products, such as AutoPlus, HITS and CTS.
IBAO Members: It is imperative that you wait until our discussions with CGI have come to a close before you execute this agreement.
As such, we will do what we can to come to a formal agreement with CGI prior to the required date of signing, and will keep our broker members informed and updated as future developments occur.
